Not sure if there is a similar thread elsewhere in the forum, I couldn't find one with a search, but thought it would be nice to share our favoured websites that are in no way related to the hobby..two below for starters...

Don't know about your second link but your first one looks like marinetraffic.com which I use to find out where my boat is when I'm off her. Sometimes quicker to load it and look up the AIS at my desk when I am onboard than going up the stairs to the bridge (lazy).
