i bought a display case off a seller on Amazon it arrived damaged due to very poor packaging so put in a complaint and this is the Email i got this morning

To make things right, we would like to issue a partial refund of GBP3 , do you think it's OK?

i have replied demanding a full refund or i will report them to Amazon the refund is not even 50% of the cost

they got back to me saying the last Email was sent by mistake  and i was due a full refund
so ends well

Well it's been almost 2 weeks since my nasal surgery thingy and I'm going freakin insane with these two bloody great stents in my nose.. they come out tomorrow (thank goodness) and I can't wait for my two week headache to be over.  I'm unhappy because the ache has been enough of a distraction to even stop me working on the railway grrrr

My sailing companion, is in hospital...
He came off his Motor Bike....
Into the front of a tractor...
He was out with a group of motorcycles on a trip something to do with ROSPA!!
The lead bike hit a big pot hole on a bend but managed to recover and not hit the tractor.
My mate was second, hit pot hole and didn't recover..
He's had a couple of days in an induced coma, having smashed lots of Bones on his right hand side.
He is in Addenbrookes at the moment.
Will be returned to the Norfolk and Norwich sometime soon.
He'll be lucky if he gets out before Christmas...

As someone who rides a motorbike occasionally I find this sort of accident sickening. OK, in a car you may damage a wheel but 2 wheelers (powered or not) are horribly vulnerable to this blight on our roads. Grrrrrr
