I must learn to stop skimming threads while being distracted by a small child... The words my brain picked up on were:

Hah! Rocking horse poo ... is all over the place at present.

Maybe itís a new initiative by the NHS, sending out individual Covid LFT kits via rocket assisted airmail to those off to celebrate. Delivery is random of course, but then so is infection so thatís fine.

Happy New Year. :pint:

Apparently some clowns were letting off fireworks at midnight near Chez Bealman, according to Mrs Bealman.

I didn't hear a thing - I was catching big zzzz from 9pm!

Happy New Year!  :beers:

Our local Tesco has 'em on the shelves pretty well all year round.

Actually, this place probably does too, it's just that I don't normally notice.

Been invited to a meal at youngest sister's on 2nd Jan so, having been exhorted by all to get tested, I tried today to get a pack of Lateral Flow Tests.
Hah! Rocking horse poo would be easier to find at pharmacies ::)
Have ordered some for delivery but the post is all over the place at present.

Got my pack in the post yesterday. For all the conspiracy theorists on the forum, it's made in China.
Could it be the swabs are dosed with Sarin? :worried:
Could over enthusiastic use puncture my one remaining brain cell? :uneasy:
How did these packs arrive in the UK so quickly yet our models are held in transit somewhere?:hmmm:

It's all moot anyway (whatever 'moot is') as the dinner has been deferred owing to Mum not feeling well.

Hope your mum has not succumbed to the dreaded, Mick.
The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

@Malc No covid, Malc. She's been coughing since June last year and is waiting to be called into hospital for an ECG but hospitals are not letting folks in at present ::)
