first day for weeks that I've not had to carry water on our walks, much cooler even in the sun....

so GHB checking to see who has been in 'his' fields

and then in one of his quieter moments

hope all your beast have enjoyed their walks today.

Lovely looking dog.
My wee hairy beast is sleeping off his nocturnal adventures

This hairless beast is about to turn in, too. Knackered after getting car serviced during a spring day in NSW.

Quite cool.... 23 degrees  ;)

He is a nice dog, BTW.

I don't have a cat or a dog, only a budgie, but he's smart.

He says "Bealmans a pretty boy"  :beers:

You must be a great bird trainer...

...getting him to say that with a straight face!

Sometimes you bite the dog...

...sometimes the dog bites you!

I can explain it to you...

...but I can't understand it for you.

the second photo was taken only moments after I had said

'sit'

'stay'

but I'm sure his pose in the photo is purely coincidental  :smiley-laughing:

See, you should get a budgie - they know the story!  ;) :beers:

he's a Husky, but as you can see he doesn't have the 'devil' eyes.
he's nearly 6 1/2 years old, we got him as a rescue when he has 6 months old, his previous owners 'couldn't manage him and the new baby'  :hmmm:  obviously lack of planning there.

he spent the next 6 months or so being 'trained' by Coco, our last shepherd, also a rescue, before we sadly lost her to a tumour.

while being 'challenging' I put the lack of major problems with him down to her influence.

had shepherds for the majority of my life, handled them in the RAF, but he is certainly not in the same class, though we wouldn't be without him.

still, I'm relably informed that huskies calm down by the time they are about 10.  :'(

Just hope you didn't smuggle him into the house :o ;)

What are devil eyes, please?

The neighbours have a husky, and it has these piercing blue eyes. All it seems to do is sleep in the sun all day, and very rarely barks.

I assume NpN is referring to the infamous Tony Abbott incident(Australian politician) in his budgie smugglers.

that's what I mean by devil eyes, with just the small blue centre, mine has what I'd refer to as shepherd eyes.

Had to Google him :dunce:
No - I don't do politics.
It's just a saying, along the lines of 'peanut smuggling' (and I'm not explaining that one either)

Cool. Thanks for that!

Without going into great detail, Chez Bealman has a bathroom that overlooks husky yard.

I flush the toilet, then open the window to have look at him. That wakes him up, and I get the devil eye stare!!
