Thanks for all the replies. Most folks know I'm resistant to getting the latest stuff and I'd have been quite happy on Windows HP so I'm gonna stick with 10 for as long as I can hold 11 off.

Just do the following:

Press Win + I keys to open Windows Settings.

Select the Personalization page, scroll down to the Taskbar section and click Taskbar behaviours.

Go to Taskbar alignment and change the option to Left.
