Interesting reading the latest N Gauge Journal. Revolution apparently planning a DMU using the Class 128 chassis. Keeping fingers crossed for a Derby Leightweight or a Gloucester 2-car...
A 116 or 117 would suit me right down to the ground 8)

A 118 power twin in BR Blue would be my preferred object....
I have allready got one of Paul Churchills 3D Derby Lightweight units it was one of his very first prints and he did say it is not 100% scale but it is OK,for me mine is even running on a Japanese chassis so it does run really well .

Paul put it on Facebook I cant even remember how much I paid for it It was allready painted .
I recommend you contact him by PM he is on the Forum as Only Me .
This was at least 3 years ago he might have stopped doing them now if Revolution ARE going to do one which they could do as i imagine Paul has a lot of information on the unit to have been able to do a 3D print .

It will be a 419 as I have just bought two 3D printed bodies. One as a top for a Japanese chassis and the other as a dummy to push in front of my 4-CEPs. Mine will be green but think of all the liveries you could get from them over their long lives. Built 1960 or thereabouts and only two have been scrapped (that doesn't mean they are now active)
Before getting too carried away with the "wish-listing", don't forget the 128 is a 64 ft unit...
Of those speculated above, half are shorter 57 ft units, so wouldn't fit the 128 without compromising the length which I don't think would be accepted by the majority of the market these days... ;)
I'm hoping for suburban stock! Plenty of 64ft mechanical transmission classes to choose from; 115, 116, 117, 118, 121.

It won't be a 121 - Dapol already make one.
My guess is either a 117 or a 120.
The 117 worked much of the western region with several working in Scotland (Fife). They also carried a decent number of liveries - green, green with lining, green with small yellow panel, blue with small yellow panel, blue with yellow end, white/blue, blue/grey, GWR, Regional Railways (with and without Scotrail branding) and NSE.
The 120 worked out of Caridff, Birmingham, Derby, Ayr, Inverness, Manchester. Several saw use in parcels traffic. Liveries include similar range of green, blue and blue/grey options.
If I were in Revolutions shoes I'd opt for the class 120. It has a wider spread of operating area and fewer livery options to worry about. It also looks very different to the 101, 108, 121 and 122 we already have. One down side is that only one vehicle from a class 120 set has survived.
