Bat out of hell has to be 1 of the most well known tracks of all time. Album sales of more than 40 million copies prove this and let's face it, how many of us don't know most, if not all of the words to the title track? My original release picture disc of this album, along with picture discs of Dead Ringer and Jim Steinman's Bad for Good (which came with a free clear vinyl single) are still some of my most prized vinyl albums.

RIP Marvin (Michael) Lee Aday. You were and always will be one of the greats of rock and roll and no doubt you and Jim Steinman will have them all rocking up there with the greats we have lost over the years.

In April 2024 I will be raising money for Cancer Research UK by doing at least 100 press-ups every day.  Feel free to click on the picture to go to the donations page if you would like to help me to reach my target.

To follow the construction of my layout "Longcroft" from day 1, you'll have to catch the fish below first by clicking on it which isn't difficult right now as it's frozen!

It's just a pity that he didn't want " to be controlled" so wouldn't wear masks or be vaccinated. He said, "If I die, I die". Covid is no respecter of these things and he got his wish. Such a great talent lost.
The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

Do we know the cause of death?
Vision over visibility. Bono, U2.

There was quite a sad yet amusing interview with Gene Simmons (of Kiss fame) on BBC Breakfast this morning. As Gene said "music is the soundtrack to your life" (not sure that's original, but still)
Evidently Boy George has tweeted that Meat (as he preferred to be known) once turned him upside down in a Chinese restaurant :D

Not yet as far as I know George

This morning's news from the BBC website says Covid.

It's just speculation at this point. He had a lot of health issues.

Trainfish

No, that will be done by Ronnie James Dio, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward when the time comes. Ozzy may get involved too as a special guest.

Sometimes you bite the dog...

...sometimes the dog bites you!

----------------------------------------------------------

I can explain it to you...

...but I can't understand it for you.
