Apparently there has never been a war between 2 countries where they both have McDonalds.

being a glutton for punishment, I once again contacted Yokel today to see what was happening with the parcel they say they collected, but then say they didn't.............

It's not just you. I purchased a couple of items off Ebay on 23/10 from different suppliers and both use Yodel

The Ebay tracking shows Yodel have them and the depot they have them at (2 different ones) yet Yodel's tracking says they are still on the way to Yodel. I then had a very similar chat with their 'help desk' who claim they haven't got them despite what Ebay's tracking says and they are in the hands of whomever collects them.
So that's nearly a week Yodel claim they have been sitting in the back of someone's van somewhere!

gave up in the end, two messages to seller ignored, yokel still saying they hadn't got item, so contacted e-bay [or to be accurate got them to phone me on their phone bill] and raised a complaint.
seller apparently also ignored their messages and so within a few days full refund from E-bay, and I still managed to leave feedback on the sellers.

last time I looked, yokel still showing the same and nothing has arrived.

I just do not understand why yokel show they have received an item when they haven't.
surely a simple 'tracking number supplied - awaiting item' would be much better ?

It's not Yodel's fault, it is either the sellers or 3rd parties that collect them. Hold on Yodel, you must have a contract with the 3rd parties so if they're not passing them on to you surely that's your problem, not mine or the seller (both sellers confirm parcels collected)

Well the menu is certainly simple enough. Maybe NATO should combine forces to operate a multi-national chain of drive-thru coffee restaurants. Something akin to Costa or Starbucks. I believe capitalism in the form of takeaway grub and beverages is the propagator of civil harmony. When the Iron-Curtain fell the first sign of civility was often a McDonalds restaurant appearing in what was previously hostile enemy territory. Surely McDonalds should be recognised for their long history of international peace keeping 😉
