Thanks for the idea. I'm past the problem now, I've fabricated some myself, but that's a useful piece of knowledge.

...for what its worth I am currently making a tool to produce bogie retaining pins, the diameter of the pin will be the same size of the original Farish pin.  These will be available soon.

I'm in the process of detailing Rue d'Etropal's 3D-printed LSWR ex-royal saloon. That required scratchbuilding a chassis out of plasticard and then pinching a couple of Farish suburban coach bogies to go underneath. I managed to fabricate the mounting/pivot point for the bogies so that it works, but it was messy and a bit trial-and-error. A more reliable way of doing the same job in future would be wonderful.
