Lawrence

Never had to make such a move myself Veronica but my father sailed the seas for 26 years. When he sent all his railway items back to the UK, he used a wooden tea chest and shredded paper to pack, all of this was breathable and allowed a little air flow. They also sat in Kings Cross luggage store for over 20 years before he finally got round to buying a house big enough to start a layout. Thanks to his packing, they were all pristine. I would avoid plastic though as they can sweat and cause rot in other materials.
