The only problem was eating "on the hoof" - difficult to make a sandwich with rice !

Or while riding a horse! :D

Thanks guys! I should go to the doc's really but I very rarely do for anything and the last time I went for a minor skin blemish that appeared it really didn't seem like she wanted to be there as much as I didn't! Probably had a bad week or something I know how overloaded they can get, anyway, i'm only suspecting it's yeast as when I lay off the bread for a long while i'm fine, it could of course be flour or wheat but i suppose i really need to get proper tests done and a professional opinion, it's strange though i seem to be ok on flat breads i.e. fajitas and pitta breads etc which lead me to think it's yeast  :hmmm:, i'm just sort of experimenting/self diagnosing really...thanks for the tip about gin and vodka!

Avoiding bread especially is a lot harder than I thought!  :worried: (The odd Jim Beam is ok though! )

Very messy trying to make cheese or beans on Jim Beam, though I reckon it would be delicious. :food:

So would you if all you got to eat was muesli (without sugar) and you had to eat it out of a bag hung round your neck with your hands tied behind your back.

Sprintex

No sadder than any other unless you have a specific reason?

My guess is Brexit but I really don't want to go there

Sprintex

Nor should anybody think of going there if they want to continue as a member on here . . .

My condolences, escafeld.

It's never easy to say goodbye to someone special.

I hope she leaves you with many happy memories.

I know it's difficult getting over the loss, but console yourself with the fact that at 94, she had a good innings.
The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

daffy

May I add my condolences escafeld.

I have now lost all my grandparents and parents, as has my wife. With one exception they all lived long lives, and for that I always give thanks.

Always sad to lose a loved one, thoughts are with you and your family  :(

As Daffy said at least she had a long and mainly happy life.
