If I have a model that is in the scale of 1:200, is there a formula for converting it to 1/43rd, 1/76th and 1/43rd.

I've been given a load of drawings that are all 1:200 scale but are of no use unless I can re-scale them, the only alternative is to google all the items to see if I can find the 1:1 dimensions !

My guess is to multiply all dimension by 200/43 etc....  Smaller scale number, larger model?

yes....

multiply by 200 then...

divide by 43
divide by 76 etc etc....


...you could have also just converted in google which would give an exact value and conversion factor in a few sconds of thinking about it.

Bear in mind that you probably don't want to scale everything up, at 1:200 there will be huge compromises on the size of detail items, wall thicknesses etc, that at 1:43 would look crazy. Think about n gauge proportions in G scale.
