Nope. It's insanely good value, and a nice rebuttal to those complaining stuff is getting expensive across the board. If you're happy with a train pack, there's some seriously good deals out there.

Cheers, NeMo

Not quite the latest purchase, but the latest one ready for exhibition use.

Third of the A2s is now 60526 SUGAR PALM, in York grot, or just about.  All I need to do is to make the nameplates look as if the background is black.  I may yet put another layer of grot onto the tender, which is a little too recognisably green.

There are a couple of more recent locos- a pannier for the colliery and a Standard 5MT to be renumbered as one that was overhauled at Darlington.  Pics once ready for service.

Very nice, Les. Have the cabside numbers been obliterated by the grot? ;)

Arrived today and guess what? Duchess of Hamilton has a serious limp. Every rotation of the driving wheels she gives a jump. Posted straight back to Hattons for loco replacement.
Yet another high quality N gauge loco!!!
:veryangry:
Size matters - especially if you don't have a lot of space - and N gauge is the answer!

Well sort of ..,. but I still haven't figured out where the steam comes out!!
Joking aside I'm quite partial to the odd green diesel - and even the odd blue one two (or is that too??).
Nice pictures from GeeBee.
