Jon - can you arrange to fire him out of the landing window like the advert with Gary Lineker?
The results may possibly be more satisfying if you don't actually have a window up there >:D

True but that would mean paying to have the roof repaired

As long as you don't have the motor on 'setting 11' you'll only need to wash the wall down, Jon :-X

Had a heart test involving a treadmill/radio-active injection this morning.

This was followed up with another one 4 days later and then nothing, zilch, nada until yesterday morning when I got a letter inviting me to have tiffin with the cardiologist consultant.................on the 13th July 2015 ???
From the beginning of December last year the problem has not gone away yet it will be 7 months until I get results from the 'expert'. I am quite sure there are more needy folks than I of his time but, by heck, it's dragging on. I guess I have to console myself with the fact it can't be anything too serious or they'd have called me in sooner :hmmm:

Malc

Now that you've sealed it, will you be able to change the batteries?
The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

Bikeracer

There was a film on a couple of nights ago called "Road" which we recorded.

It's about the Dunlop family of motorcycle racers in Ireland,up to now I've watched about half of it up to Joey Dunlops death.

I'm absolutely fed up again that someone has decided that the dialogue should have music played over it all the time.
Who are these idiots that want to put clink, clank, clonk piano sounds over dialogue?

Allan
I'm not a complete idiot..some bits are missing.

The same idiots who enjoy credit squeezing so you can't see the cast of programmes, Allan ::)

There is a good write up about Joey in Guy Martin's autobiography.
That music is a right pain in the a*** Allan, but apparently it's art . Squeezing the credits is another pain, even more so. After being in broadcasting 42 years, there are a few people I know in the business and I look out for their names.

Bought that last weekend, Malc, but haven't read it yet.
Please don't get me started on 'youngsters' doing autobiographies, though. For pity's sake, they haven't lived half their expected lifespan yet :veryangry:

The way he carries on, he might have lived over three quarters of his expected life span already.
