Furloughed from work, at home for an indeterminate time but still able to ride my bike and float away to Ride and their somewhat appropriately titled album, "This is not a Safe Place".

For those of a certain age it was announced yesterday that Julie Felix had died, aged 81.  Julie was still performing her own style of protest song until afew weeks ago.  Last year she sang at our 50th wedding anniversary party and put on an excellent show. Look her up

The sad news today is that Manu Dibango passed away, apparently due to the virus.

A piece not hugely well known which, dependent on mood, frequently has me blubbing by the end so you may need some eye wipe if you listen to it all............

I confess listening to Rod Stewart, but when he was still a rocker.

The Table-Top Railway is an attempt to create, in British 'N' gauge,  a 'semi-scenic' railway in the old-fashioned style, reminiscent of the layouts of the 1930s to the 1950s.

Yesterday I dug out my old Minidisc player and ran through some old live gig recordings from the mid 90s. Great fun - warts 'n all!

Toying with the idea of putting them up somewhere for the music venue we played at to stream while the venue is closed.
