Trade paint names and applications

Hunting around for equivalents to hobby paint has brought even more confusion.

There are some well know paint manufactures, but the type of paints stocked are foreign to me.

I was amazed to find Craftmaster paints who appear to have a connection to HMG paints, who it seems, produce hobby specific products.

If I wanted an Enamel paint mixed similar to Humbrol enamel tins/cherry paints enamel made to order for an unavailable colour, should I be asking for 'coach' paint?

Perhaps there is also an equivalent trade name for acrylics?
