Are any of you expecting anything N Gauge related for Christmas? My present is a surprise, so I have no idea what it is! ;D
??? I`m told that this Christmas my special treat is to tidy up the room the layouts in incase we get nose....oops I mean interested visitors pop in. :(
 Well that's no fun. I have the same task to do before I can begin my new layout. The guests can stay out of it! :D
Well having seen that lovely building on Claudes layout, daughter has been forwarded this link, also Wellington Models if doing a footbridge, the Greenmax one that is similar to GWR style for a tenner, so I sent her a link to that too ;)
Asked Santa for a green Farish Western. But knowing my luck it ll be a bloody cowboys and indians movie!
I'm looking forward to a decent amount of stuff this year:
I'm getting a sound fitted Class 20 Pair off my dad,
And then £200 worth of second hand from antics off my mum (including ATM Car Carrier and several farish wagons)
Finally a Blue/Grey 108 from my grandma :p
Oh yes a good Christmas for me :D

A 2-6-2 Tank in Scarborough NE livery......
Well I'd better, I picked it and Sue wrapped it - or took it back.
I'll find out on Christmas Day.

Ha ha! Nothing like a few hints. :) My wife did the same thing to me for her engagement ring a few years back. How dare she even assume! ;D

Wow, you are lucky! How much are the Class 20's costing your dad? I don't know too much about sound. I'm guessing it's DCC too?

Suprisingly not too much, chap at antics is getting rid of all his N Gauge and he had these for sale at £120, so a decent price in my opinion. And yes it is DCC too :D

Me? I'd like the scenery fairy to visit my attic on Christmas eve, ballast all my track and generally add some eye candy to my bare baseboards.
(actually, probably best to wait until I've made some track alterations (what? again? -Ed.))

...scenery fairy....
:D
If the scenery fairy can buy all my track etc for me, then they're more than welcome round mine!
Hello to everyone
Just joined so still finding my way round, but I am getting the new Farish B1 in LNER Green ;D
SWMBO bought me a daylight illuminated magnifier, managed to get it a week early though ;D
Mrs Dreyfus don't do buying toy trains...Boo! :'(
To make matters worse, I have ordered something for me for Christmas...but it isn't N gauge! :o
A rather nice H0 Kato DD51 type 4 diesel locomotive awaits my attention in the next couple of weeks. Nothing quite like a bit of japanese H0 to get the 00 modellers in our club going...especially when a big articulated EH500, of 1997 vintage, pays an unusual visit to 1950s Dorset...
For those interested, below is an image of a DD51 - this particular example being an N gauge Micro Ace model...
