They did say a web provider problem during  check of carriage costs to Europe/Italy....not specifying if it's a bug or other...

No doubt you'll be looking at security for that area and what about the layout?

Whole house is alarmed, Dave, but it wasn't turned on as we were home. It was obviously a rush job, I'd say they've ran in, grabbed the stuff and bolted. Copper reckoned there's been a spate of it in the area.

That makes it worse doesn't it? Hope your insurance doesn't get shirty about that - they do like to wriggle out of paying out if they can!

I had a car nicked overnight off the drive some years back. I was home in bed. It was my lovely Jag XJ Sovereign and I still miss it.  :'(  :'(
