24volt system. - wouldn't recommend that. I have heard reports of 24volt systems being quite underwhelming in their level of assistance but I haven't tried one. Go for a 36volt system which is the norm.
Working doesn't seem to be the perfect thing for me so I'll continue to play.

Whilst I'm sure it's of no consequence to many it's worth considering that if it is capable of powering the bike without assistance (ie you don't have to pedal) then it's not legal for use on UK roads. The police seem to be cracking down on the electric scooters you see in towns for the same reason, and I suspect it'll become more of an issue in future.

The Wooshbikes kit looks ok, but that talks about the thumb trigger too, which would turn it into an electric motorbike, and thus not legal.
