I know that a couple of these are available ready to install from commercial suppliers but I wonder does anyone know of a circuit diagram (plus either electronic components labelled or list given) for one of these?

I've put together one or two electronic kits from Maplins etc (following the instructions!!) and it's quite interesting.  I'd like to have a go at something more relevant to model railways and the idea of setting up an auto reverse on a length of track is appealing

Thanks for any guidance

Try the MERG website, they do quite a lot of railway stuff.

Thanks very much for the replies/suggestions.

I had checked out MERG but had never heard of the Blocksignalling folk.

Fully investigated the latter and decided that for what I wanted the SS1 Shuttle would do just fine.

Very good price (ready built and guaranteed) which I suspect a set of components couldn't really compete with.

To end the story, by chance I was on  "the" auction site and came across the SS1 readily available at just £12.99 post free - I ordered one!!

Thanks again for your advice
