I started aged 5 with a Hornby OO Flying Scotsman set (which i still have today!) And ever since then i've had a model railway of some sort, so thats 14 years of modelling trains :D

I changed over to N Gauge around 7 years ago as i liked the fact i could fit a fairly large layout under my bed (no longer with  us) and have since gone on to collect a very very large collection of stock.

For me i like all aspects of the hobby. Track laying, design work, scenery, operating, electrical.... And i suppose working in a model shop helps to keep my interest there lol
