Was chuffed (pun intended) to get second out of 15 or so entries I think, anyone who's seen "Crossgates" at exhibition that was the winning entry, great little layout and very well detailed, deserved to win

I started aged 5 with a Hornby OO Flying Scotsman set (which i still have today!) And ever since then i've had a model railway of some sort, so thats 14 years of modelling trains

I changed over to N Gauge around 7 years ago as i liked the fact i could fit a fairly large layout under my bed (no longer with  us) and have since gone on to collect a very very large collection of stock.

For me i like all aspects of the hobby. Track laying, design work, scenery, operating, electrical.... And i suppose working in a model shop helps to keep my interest there lol
