Just a quick post about Allan, Zogbert Splod . I hadn't seen him on here for a while and missed his pithy comments, so I dropped him a PM. I quote from his reply.

" I suddenly, and unexpectedly, have gone most of the way blind.  Using the computer is a struggle and modeling is right out of the question.  There is a possibility that  something can be done but I am waiting to see a specialist for the answer to that one.  I am assured that, at the least they should be able to hold things from getting worse, but I am hoping for some improvement in the longer term.  These things are sent to try us - works, doesn't it!"

So let's have our collective fingers crossed that he gets sorted sooner rather than later.

The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

Thanks, Malc. I just sent a PM. We used to have interesting discussions on electronics and Arduinos.

Flippin' 'eck!  :o . I think a lot of us have some sort of problem(s), but news like that makes you put things in perspective.  I hope things do improve for Allen.

I used to be indecisive - now I'm not - I don't think.
If a friend seems distant, catch up with them.

Sometimes you bite the dog...

...sometimes the dog bites you!

I can explain it to you...

...but I can't understand it for you.

Poor man! Blindness is one of my worst nightmares. I add my best wishes for his improvement/recovery.

Cheers,

Chris
