Autoballasters arrived?

Hi folks,

Maurice of Osbourne Models has announced on the yahoo n gauge group that the autoballasters have arrived in a delivery from Bachmann.

I want some.... Happy modelling folks.

We had these arrive at Rails on Saturday and i must say they look fantastic!

Surprised Maurice is not on here, would be useful as I hardly ever check the Yahoo N gauge group as it is so much easier to use the Forum

I only joined the N Gauge Society the other week having not had the funds for years.
Now I have started joining the clubs and societies, and buying either the rtr or kits of the stuff I've always wanted.

I will have a look at the society kits tho, are all the parts needed included in there?

Gee I must be a useless twit I had to Google Autoballaster to find out what you lot were so excited about

with me just about to ballast the track I thought it may have been an easy way of doing things

but that thing is as useless as boobs on a bull for me

These look amazing I saw both types at my local model shop.

Only problem with them was the price... my local shop had them listed at £28.99 and which ever way you look at it that is going to be £150 for a reasonable rake.... Ouch.

Now who was it that started the thread about continental railways being expensive...

I still want them....

The RRP on them is £28.85, so it would appear this shop is selling them for above retail!

Looks like an order to Hattons has to be the done thing really at that price....
