I think the 95 tube stock is designed around the Kato Centram mechanism. Taking apart one of these very nice trams is not for the faint hearted and there are modifications required to the motor bogies, but they are small and would give a very good height of travel.

I have been considering looking into this when funding allows.

Hi Bob

The 95 stock is based on the Portram (which gives you two self-contained motor bogies) and is not too difficult to take to pieces. Is the Centram the same design?

Cheers, Mike

Got confused on my Trams, but they do look very similar...................

They're pretty much identical, basically same model branded for different companies (like the prototype).

Parkwood make the Met. electric loco kit, a body for a Battery loco and the 30 ton GP flat wagon.
