In the hope of getting a response about used N scale lists,  I sent emails and even a text message (probably the only one I sent in years!) to Anoraks Anonymous.

I'd would like to see an online section as, or at least a list of some sort.
I'm disappointed that I didn't get a reply, perhaps they are too busy?
Maybe I should send a paper list of stuff I am searching for?

I would imagine that with the amount of gear they turn over it would be a helluva lot of work to maintain a list online, let-alone support an online shop.

When did you send the messages? They were at a show last weekend and the same this Saturday by the look of it.

They do have a "shop" in Doncaster that is open Wed and Thurs last time I went. Graham

It was some weeks ago now, not the first time I tried.
Sometimes emails can get stuck in a spam filter, but I tried several.

I find it important to see the condition first, telephoning puts me at a huge disadvantage.  It's a bit impractical to go that far to see if there is anything, never mind the expense of travel.  A show is better but a huge effort.

Have you looked at Zetland Model Railways? I have purchased from them, and found better pricing and availability than the auction site(s). Here's a link:

Finally, after waiting over 55 years I am building a permanent layout in a purpose built shed!

I had no idea, that's actually rather good, thank you!
An eclectic bunch of stuff, quite surprising.
