Remarkable, Martin, that the tortoise and turtle, seemingly similar animals, should behave such different levels of activity and hunger.

Our pet turtle, Buddy, (post #54 on this thread) is a continuously active beast always looking for food including fingers.

Ralph, and his assistant Maebrey (asleep on the chair) always like to spend time in the loft while I am up there.

If it looks difficult it probably is, but might as well get on with it anyway!

Our two tortoises woke up on Monday after their three month sleep and are straight into replenishing their body fat store ready for next Winter.
The two I had growing up loved tomatoes, to the extent we couldn't grow them. They would run across the garden for fresh tomatoes.

Interesting also to see the 'Attleborough' totem as my parents retired there from the Midlands and I had an uncle & aunt who also lived there

This is Luna recuperating from surgery to remove about half a cup of 'stones' from her bladder. She had repeated UTIs so we are happy they're out, didn't have pet insurance but they don't take you on - you take them on and their care comes with the animal. Looking forward to some rekindling of her ability at the Agility course

Bless her. If dogs are anything like humans that shaved area is going to itch like the devil soon and she'll start scratching so keep an eye on the dressing ;)

She looks very much like our Bella. Is she a lagotto?

Our little Cavachon had bladder stones removed in Jan. Dependant on the type of stone he had to go on Hills prescription diet, either c/d or u/d.

Bless her. Can't be much fun. Our Dalmatian is on a low purine diet as they are notorious stone formers. Touch wood we've never had a problem.

10 days later she's trying to catch up on everything I've struggled to restrain her from doing - aren't they just incredible!
