I'm sure I'm not alone in possessing more than one model of certain locos - maybe a new version of an old model or different liveries etc.
So........just for a bit of fun I present my steam ones:-

Feel free to post similar pics. Steam/diesel/electric. Any country.
Must be same class or same name e.g. 'Warship'. Certain differences allowed, witness the Merchant Navy one

Class 101s by Roco.   This is not all of them (I need to update the group photo with others I've bought since :) )

I solved my only duplicate, a rebuilt Royal Scot 6115 Scots Guardsman in LMS black, by 3d printing an unrebuilt Royal Scot body for one of them, 6111 Royal Fusilier in LMS crimson.

Here we go.

40015 lead loco. 40012 behind.
12 has more crisper letters numbers and looks sharper in detail. The side grilles on the China version look a lot sharper and of course 15 was made in Poole without a dcc ready equipment plus the old metal block under the body.  12 runs more smoother

Mick @Newportnobby , would you be kind enough to tell us/me what your locos are i.e. Class and manufacturer, some I know and some I readily don't! And, possibly the date of manufacture e.g. the two Castles are Graham Farish, the rear one being Poole and the front one being China (I think).

Many thanks,

Tim

Class 20s

Farish 20142 (8205) Poole
Leading 20048 (371032A)
On left and D8144 ( 8204) a Vintage '82 model

Purchased from exhibitions except a colleague sold 8144 for £50 ! Just a run in and a dab of oil and all 3 run smooth slow hauling HAA wagons or chemicals Trains real memories of the misspent youth around Warrington and Crewe

ET 420 EMU  (a favourite of mine, some example models go back to the mid 70s)

I reckon Nick (ntpx3) is winning hands down just on colour alone :D

Without boasting, far too many to photograph.....

All these locos have running numbers appropriate to East Anglia, particularly 30A, 30F, 31B, 32A, or 32B. The odd loco with a non GER section shed allocation is replicated from photos of use in the area. If the manufacturers' choice of number is suitable (eg the B17s), then it is left, otherwise all have been renumbered and, if appropriate, renamed (Parkeston's B1s had a nice series of numbers of the B1 'namers').

For use on JS, I take;

3 x cl15
3 x 20
4 x 24
5 x 31 (includes toffee apple/skinhead variants)
3 x 37
2 x 40 + 2 Poole home

5 x J39 (Farish) + 2 UM at home
7 x Farish B1, + 2 kit at home
5 x Dapol Britannia, + 4 Minitrix at home
2 x B17
2 x Austerity
1 x N2, +1 at home.

2 x 2 car Cl 101 DMUs, + 1 Poole at home
1 x cl 101 3-car, + 1 Poole at home.

These are not all used at the same time on JS, but are used to 'ring the changes' and even out usage.

I now have far too many locos, as the large layout which I'd built and used up most of these has now been dismantled, due to a house move, so all are now living in boxes and awaiting the next exhibition or my new-as yet undecided-layout.
