While scrabbling around in boxes I found 2 chassis.
One is a silver block with brass gears and the other is black with plastic gears.
Without couplings I measure them at 85mm length.
They look identical, and the black version states "Farish - Made in China" underneath so I guess the silver one is a Poole job.
Can anyone identify them please?

If a pic is needed of anything else to help please let me know.
Thank you
I'm not a Farish expert but they look like class 20 chassis to me, stubby with a narrow block. I do have one somewhere.

They both look like class 20 chassis, although whilst the black one has class 20 bogies, the silver one has class 25 bogies.
A view of the chassis ends and better lighting/detail on the underframe tanks would help confirm. The class 20 chassis has a machine screw hole in one end for the body to be screwed to.
The 1989 Farish catalogue shows the Poole era chassis.

Just checked and both chassis have a machine screw hole each end a la class 20. If I'd had my brain cell turned on I would have notice the silver one had class 25 bogies
Thanks for the replies so far
I'm glad you weren't scrabbling around in your drawers :D
