Petrol Station Christmas Eve

It was the night before Christmas
And the forecourt was quiet
I was eating some chocolate
Which was bad for my diet.

Then all of a sudden
There arose such a clatter
I looked out of the window
To see what was the matter.

Then to my surprise
There was a sleigh parked so neat
And a gaggle of reindeer
All stamping their feet.

A man dressed in red
Raced in through the door
His feet almost dancing
As he rushed cross the floor.

His nose was all shiny
And his cheeks had turned blue
"It's bitterly cold out there
Can I please use your loo.

So I showed him the toilet
And he came out quite soon
All smiling and cheerful
And whistling a tune.

He gave me a nod
And as he went on his way
He said "Thanks for being open
And have a great Christmas day"
