Winds over 50mph at present and not expected to drop below 45mph until Weds!

Sounds worse outside now than it did over the weekend.

And so it turned out to be. I have 2 panels down, next door's has 2 down and his next door's has one down so I can see across three gardens. Mon pm/Tues am just broke the camel's back (and our fences) >:(
Dunno about the others but I'm not touching mine until after the weekend :no:

My town was flooded in 1998, but the one twelve months later did more damage to our place.

Just saying, like.  ;)

Good luck!  :thumbsup:

How did you get on with the leak Mick? (Reply #9). @Newportnobby
David.
I used to be indecisive - now I'm not - I don't think.
If a friend seems distant, catch up with them.

@dannyboy Thanks for asking, David
It has rained sharply since with no leaks so I'm hoping it was just a one off due to the torrential rain and it being blown up and under the peak of the conservatory. I'm leaving the polythene cover on until after Storm Dennis and will see what occurs

Sounds like a plan mick. Hopefully mr walmsley will not be needed mick

daffy

Storm Dennis is causing more chaos as it follows swiftly on from Ciara, dropping more rain on already saturated ground.

Thoughts with all those who may have experienced damaging flooding and other storm related problems. Here on the Fens we wake to find water covering large parts of the garden at the highest level we have seen outside our bungalow since we moved here 7 years ago. It's right on the limit, but not over the level that would cause us an issue, though there is a minor amount of water in my garage. Rain eased off now here and level has dropped and continues to subside.
I suspect others may have not been so lucky. :(
