Whenever I write a letter to someone, I add a footnote briefly explaining Ohm's law. It's my P.S. de resistance.

Thought it looked familiar, put it down to deja vu.

I was waiting for the announcer to say "Military Train 5204 is departing Moscow, heading for Kiev"

absolutely brilliant!!!   I wish it had been there when I was in st. Petersburg about 10 years ago.

I have to say though that I prefer railway models to be more realistically spaced out and a bit empty looking - obviously you have to compromise a bit on this as no one has space for it to be totally accurate! I think empty space, wasteland, empty sidings, countryside etc. etc. looks a lot better as these types of models are just too crowded.  it makes me feel a bit ill to see so much action in a small space!!!  there are just so many scenes, people, things moving, lights flashing etc. etc. which I know you need for an entertainment layout but it's just a bit much for me!!!

I do want to buy some ho scale Russian trains now!
