The problem should be fixed now thanks to Emanuele.  It was to do with the settings of the album, so thankfully nothing major. :)  You should all see the pictures once your Cache updates.

many thanks all,
pics now displaying, and well worth the wait  :)

Just to throw a spanner in the works, I'm on IE and can see the pics just fine :)

Hi all

I still cannot see owl'spictures in the Old warren thread
but if i go to the media section , in the recent picture section i can see the pictures as thumbnails (Great pics BTW)

But if i try to expand them i still get the " you are not allowed to view..........." message

But here is the strange one ..... there are two that i can expand Old warren 007 007 and old warren 007 006  :o

tried emptying cache and re-booting twice

and i get the same results in I.E and Chrome

I was just about to add a post  :uneasy:

I have just updated I.E to version 10 for 64bit on windows 7  :hmmm:

And I can now see the pics  :claphappy:

The new version of I.E is great , It's a lot faster than the old versions and is also a lot faster to load the forum than Chrome

and once again the photo's are great

Glad to hear it's solved the problem!  Fingers crossed for Chinahand too.

Nope. Still having the same problem. I'm using IE8 on Windows XP and have checked that I have the latest version. I've also cleaned out my caches and re-booted several times.

I'm still seeing the small boxes with the message "Sorry you are not allowed to view this file. Make sure you are connected to the server."

The boxes are 200 x 50 png files and, although the properties show them to be in the NGF (http://www.ngaugeforum.co.uk/SMFN/index.php?action=media;sa=media;in=4110;preview) they contain a hidden link to a website called 'Highslide JS' which I am assuming is where Owl originally stored and downloaded his pictures from. All his previous pictures are downloaded from Photobucket and I have no problems viewing them. I've tried opening Highslide JS in case I needed to be in their web site to view the pictures but this has still not solved the problem.

I have never seen this problem before on any forums I use and I suspect that the problem rests with how and where the pictures were originally stored. Is there any chance that Owl could try deleting the original pictures and re-posting them.
