I really hate it when you are on a roll building the layout and then you have to take time out to let the glue etc dry.
Almost as bad as homebrewing. You can see the product but can't drink it yet.
Modelling stupid small scale using T gauge track and IDl induction track. Still have  N gauge but not the space( Japanese Trams) Excuse spelling errors please, posting on mobile phone

Building kits during short lunch breaks at work forces you to wait for glue to dry! The upside is that I haven't knocked anything off while impatiently adding another component before the glue has dried! lol

Confession: I'm building 1:35 scale tanks at work!

Hi Gang;

The 1:1 scale model of the C130J Hercules wasn't finished in time this morning, so I have spent the day marooned in front of the PC instead of enjoying the good weather flying.... :veryangry:

This reminds me of when a Hercules got stuck outside of the Tesco in Lyneham!

Interesting scenario for a layout?

FedEx just delivered my Maplins order for their version of a Dremel, bought on line.

It was packed in a blue shipping back and rattled! Opening the bag, the gizmo's plastic case was cracked with all the contents spilled out. Not surprised really. The whole thing was wrapped in a single skin of bubble wrap.

Caught the driver who has taken it away 'Refused - Damaged'

Now to call Maplins and nag!  :veryangry:

Re daveg's tale thought Maplins would have done better, have only
bought from their stores not by post.

Reminds me of buying a glass camera filter on fleabay which arrived
in an ordinary small envelope inside one of those small polythene bags.
On opening a pile of glass fell out. Got a refund after some hassle,
seller barred me from further bids.(London camera shop)

Not a good day, started with a bad asthma attack due to a certain "Monkey" going overboard with her deodorant, dropped my car keys down the drain outside - now waiting for the remote control keyfob to dry out.
Smoke alarm in the house beeping like mad because the battery is flat. Can't find the  new one. :veryangry: :veryangry:
Hopefully that is it for now  they say things happen in threes,  don't need a fourth   problem.

Decided to install Photoshop Elements yesterday on Widows 7 and Mac OS X.
Why oh why is it never straight forward to install anything on Windows like it is on the Mac.

Ended up having to start windows in safe mode to uninstall a program that was supposed to be being used by another program..huh! There was nothing running only the installer.About half an hour later I finally got it installed.

Put the disc in the Mac partition,it installed straight away...no problems.

I'm really glad the Windows partition isn't connected to the internet.
I'm not a complete idiot..some bits are missing.
