Shame really as most of her family are in Oz.  Her dad John died a few years ago sadly.

A dapol hymek dummy, having just fitted a sound decoder into it - lots of room and the dummies have the power pickup strips in place. Now I just need to sort out some actual Hymek noises for it.

Wimmin yacking in Russian in the other room. I hate Xmas.  The Russian chappies must have found it boring too because they don't turn up to these parties now either.

Listening to David Winstanley commentating on the Historic Rally Championship on Motors TV - lots of lovely MK1+MK2 Escorts, Porsche 911s, the odd Mini Cooper, Lotus Sunbeam, Chevette HS, etc. Rally car heaven!!  8)

Had two Sunbeams, the last one was a Ti. Always wanted a Lotus version but couldn't afford it.

Been listening to the Ministry of Sound The Annual 2012 (Australian-version). I get this every year from the same Aunty for Christmas haha.

Just been spending an hour or two trawling YouTube.  Two of my favourites of recent times that I just found:

Numb by Linkin Park.  I saw them live at the Birmingham Indoor Arena.  The Numb video was quite good:

Linkin Park - Numb

The Tempest by Pendulum.  Here they are live at Brixton Academy (the best bit starts just after 5 minutes!):

The Tempest - Pendulum Live at Brixton Academy (DVD)

Further to my post on this thread on Dec 12th, Aussie Floyd line up has changed, apparently.  Damien Darlington has left the band.  Here he is in 2004 playing the solo to Comfortably Numb.  Fantastic performance:

Australian Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb

The current line up looks to be almost as good.  Just 'YouTube' Aussie Floyd Hammersmith Apollo 2011.

I saw Linkin Park in Sonisphere in 2009.  Loved their first album, but the later stuff is a bit boring.

I like their first two. Loud and angry. I was so disappointed with their third album.  I think they tried too hard as it took 18 months and was too lame and a bit of a sell out.  I guess you get less angry when you're a millionaire! :smiley-laughing:
