I must say that this is a useful feature, because I've lost count of the number of times I've lost what I've typed over the years.

Unfortunately, it does not apply to pm's.

I was almost finished typing a very lengthy pm to Roger of this parish (Wrenton), when my phone rang and somehow I lost the lot.  :veryangry:

I'd be interested to find out as well.
The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

Little hitch at 16.25 today but eventually the forum got going again.

Saving a draft from this comment ads it to your draft list.

The only way I have found to access it later is to do a dummy draft, which calls up your draft topic list , which can be accessed/ copied.

Is there any method where I can 'favourite' threads I return to often (such as my own layout), without having to click through several layers of the forum first please?

In the server move and update the facility to bookmark certain threads was lost but it is on the list of things to be sorted, I believe

Tank

Yes, we're hoping that the developer updates it soon, so that we can use it again.  All previous Bookmarks are saved in a file on the server until then.

Is the restoration of the bookmark facility, both storing a new one and using saved ones, still going to happen at some point?

Tank

Yes, I just need to wait for the author of the bookmark modification to update it.  Sorry, I know it's annoying.

two changes I have noticed since the upgrade...

1. you now HAVE to put a subject in a pm, no subject is no longer acceptable

2. you used to be able to see a member's status, ie sending a message, etc, but this has now also disappeared.

intentional, or just happened ??

Might just be me but every time I try and upload a photo from a reply it boots me off and loses the photo and any text I've added previously
