This really is a great site - Thankyou admins!

On the subject of Thank Yous (a feature I LIKE), can they be added to the Response menu on the Mobile site please?

Thank you!

This might be in the wrong page, I'm having trouble in trying to move a photo image from the Gallery to topic page, any help would be helpful please ?

If I remember correctly, click on the picture in the gallery. Towards the bottom of the page, you will see 'BB Code'. Copy that link and paste into your post. If I have got that wrong - sorry!

Just experimented - doing the above puts the actual photo' into the post.

I used to be indecisive - now I'm not - I don't think.

Stuart The Bass

Hi there Tank,

Just a quick note. I tried to get to the Forum using www.ngaugeforum.co.uk in my browser (Windows explorer in Win10). I get a 403 forbidden error when I try this.

Currently the only way I can get access is to google the forum and then use any link that doesn't point at the 'home' page, or use a link notifying me of messages or posts.

Don't know if this is normal or if it is a problem. Just thought Id let you know

Stuart
Thanks

A non-techy try using the link in your thread Stuart worked OK for me and I'm using WIN10 with Chrome.

Want to try my link with the https bit at the front? https://www.ngaugeforum.co.uk

Yes, Dave is correct.  Update your favourites so that it has the https rather than http, or it won't work.

Thanks to Daveg and Tank. Its always the simple answer..........
Didnt even occur to me, so used to explorer putting it in for me......
Thanks

Glad to hear it's sorted out.  :)

Could not decide whether to put this here or start a new thread....

Regarding Alerts and 'see more alerts' , when I click on 'see more alerts' I get taken to a new page where I was expecting to see a list of alerts only to find one alert per page. I think it would be better if it could display a list of alerts, perhaps 20 per page instead of having to trawl through many pages to find the link to any certain alert that had been spotted.

The old system seemed better as in all alerts would remain visible until clicked and now as soon as you click one the rest vanish.

Not sure if its just me but my email notifications are duplicating and arriving in a random order.  Been that way for a couple of hours.

Might be the Forum host's email server has a problem

Tank

Is this still happening now?  Not had any other reports.

Love the forum. Can be tad slow but having had a bit of repair work, checked server, rebooted, its working fine. Plenty of beautiful layouts, helpful modellers. I just did only have one query but thats been solved thanks to mick newport nobby. Chris
