Technically this should be in the Japanese section, but this little 2-4-0 tank engine was built at the Vulcan Foundry and pulled the first official train to run in Japan, in 1872.

Kato's 50th Anniversary C50. Not an entirely new acquisition, I bought it before the £ dropped -

took a snap of it while having the camera out for the Terrier that arrived this morning.
