Not really a new purchase.
I have just received 5 loco's back from Wickness Models after being converted to DCC the work has been done to a high standard and the locos serviced and the Farish Western had one of the bogey towers replaced to sort a split gear problem, the mini trix locos have had their lights converted to DCC friendly LEDs.

Finally bought some rolling stock for the Class 37's I bought and this is totally random and got took in by the limited to 504 pieces part of the advert lol, Thought as I'm doing a shunting yard though these would look awesome sitting in the corner on a siding with a bit grass on the tracks ' mini scene there '

A bit off topic now. These got dropped off at my local model railway club last night by someone who wanted to give them a new home, rather than chucking them in the skip. There were a few other bits as well, but these caught my eye. I think my N gauge layout will be on the back burner for a bit while I have a play around with all this O gauge stuff!  :sorrysign:

Afternoon all, well my new crane arrived from Japan this morning and after a test run behind my class 73 I have to say it's a great model. Some work to cover up the Japanese writing will be done. At a cost of £22 I don't think you can go wrong. Hope the pics work ok

This fine limited edition 100kei Shinkansen from Tomix slipped into my hands earlier today during my weekly Tour du Akihabara, together with a Large Office Building in mint condition inside a slightly damaged carton for half the normal price.

Bought these  yesterday from my local model shop in Glasgow. Second hand, but they're in great condition and run well.

Apologies for taking multiple shots of the same loco, but my friend wanted pics of them until he can see them in person.

I have a soft spot for them too. :D  I'm going to end up with at least a half dozen class 08's in different liveries. :P

Purchases from TINGS and a local shop that specialises in old toys, models and collectables.

Dapol did well out of me at TINGS; Class 122 in Regional Railways, BR 4914 Cranmore Hall, BR (W) Fruit D in brown, BR (W) Fruit D in blue and BR (W) Siphon G.

The 2 gresley coaches came from the local shop.  They are by Dapol; buffet and a FK to go with three Gresley coaches I have.  I also picked up a Peco box van with LMS on it.

I have a 26 year old 08 which is still one of favourite locos and is used for testing purposes during the restoration of my equally old layout. At least it clears the platforms, which my new outside framed one has arguments with.
Vision over visibility. Bono, U2.

A Class 08 was my very st N gauge purchase and I always use it to test out any new track I have just laid and to see if it catches on any scenery - great runner.
