Well... If they aren't going to produce proper blue 87's promptly, and they're only going to charge £44 for a new one in Virgin livery I'll just buy a spare body off the ebay and make my own...  :P

One of my pre orders turned up to day, in THE Southern livery originally named Cheam my old home town, this little beauty.

The first thing I'd do is get the numbers changed to the correct font... beautiful model, great paint and lining job, all let down because they can't get the numbers correct - it's not as if they don't know, the numbers on the Southern-livery M7 I have are correct...

Swallow HST full rake with CJM chassis. Pics when she arrives :) Damage wasn't too bad either.

Added to my DMU fleet with a dummy class 121.  I have one dummy 121 in green with yellow panels but I wanted one with speed whiskers to match my other green units.

Sharp! That little scene there looks good. I like your track.
Spend as little as possible on what you need so you can spend as much as possible on what you want.

Cheers, really appreciate you saying that.  :D

The track was painted by hand and I'm pleased with how it turned out, but I'm not sure I'd do it that way again.

Dapol or Farish HST? And what's a CJM chassis (and why)? ???

It's a Farish one. Could never afford a full dapol rake :P I googled the chassis, apparently it's good. £175 alone for some reason.
