371-052 made in 2008. Not often you see the black one so I hope you can get it running OK

There's actually another one located in the states on Ebay right now I think. Same # and everything.

David.
I used to be indecisive - now I'm not - I don't think.

I hadn't bought any Locos for nearly ten years now, but I finally had a mad moment and splashed out on four new Dapol 86s. The last few days has been spent re-numbering three of them, and doing some minor repainting on them as well. At the present time all of them are doing well, handling 12 coaches with no difficulty, along with 1 in 70 gradients at a decent speed without using full power. So far so good  ;D

If it looks difficult it probably is, but might as well get on with it anyway!

That brings the total of 86s up to 26 now, along with
8 x 87s
7 x 85s
3 x 84s
3 x 83s
3 x 82s
7 x 81s
plus the Gas Turbine conversion E2001

Hi Jeff ( @Jeff_W )

Nice haul.  I see you have some of those signals that appeared on John's ( @Train Waiting ) the larger Poppingham Railway.  Are you planning on a tribute layout?

:)

Kind regards

Classy but quite old (2008). Is it a good runner?

Runs well, directional lights all work OK.
Didn't know that 37 was old ... I own several Farish 47 chassis which have brass gears fitted on bogies which are about FORTY years old!

Some of this stuff came last week but between work and sleep and just not having the enthusiasm to get into things... I've been delayed into opening/inspecting recent purchases:
