I am a cat person. I don't understand how a slavering dog is not a hygiene risk, but a cute little black cat is...

I love the idea of taking a support pony on the metro too.

I do, however, draw the line at emotional support peacocks, as they have a nasty habit of turning into attack peacocks  :-X

My local china shop wouldn't let me in with my support bull.

They'd probably heard about your bull.

It's been well documented over the last ten years that cats (and dogs) have a positive impact on mental health issues, anxiety, depression disorders and autism. I suspect Sainsbury may have done themselves no favours with this.

Sometimes you bite the dog...

...sometimes the dog bites you!

I can explain it to you...

...but I can't understand it for you.

I'm perfectly ok with it as long as the pet is happy in the environment, That HAS to be the priority, not the needs of the human.

About 35 years ago there was a bloke in Coalville (Leics) who walked around the town with a live fox draped round his neck. I can't imagine he tied it up outside if he went in anywhere.
I'm in two minds about the cat as it seems perfectly happy to do what he needs of it, whereas my cat would have let go one/both ends if I'd tried it :uneasy:

I showed our cat the video of Chloe sitting still in the pub for several hours and sitting on his shoulder. I got a howl and a foot in my face as he leaped out of my hands. So our cat fails the patience test  :smiley-laughing:

Well, they do say that pets get like their owners.

You can't bring that cat in here!

Why not?

It's unhygenic!

He won't mind.

All attendees of our Zoom meetings are aware he's full of it ;) :-X

Wasn't actually me that posted that, but I'm still going with, pot, kettle, black.

Would my alarm clock peacock be acceptable?

I still feel British Airways are being unreasonable about my emotional support elephant....

Back in the noughties I was a director of a licensed club.

We were all required to do duty nights. Most were quiet boring evenings, but occasionally things happened.

One night on my shift a guy came in with an open shirt and a snake coiled round his wrist.

No way, Jose! Takes all sorts, I guess.  :worried:

@Bob Tidbury and myself know how difficult it is to herd cats.
Our experience came at many a TINGS when trying to get forum members together for a group pic. ;D
