I am a cat person. I don't understand how a slavering dog is not a hygiene risk, but a cute little black cat is...

I love the idea of taking a support pony on the metro too.
I do, however, draw the line at emotional support peacocks, as they have a nasty habit of turning into attack peacocks :-X
Bob
My local china shop wouldn't let me in with my support bull.
They'd probably heard about your bull.

It's been well documented over the last ten years that cats (and dogs) have a positive impact on mental health issues, anxiety, depression disorders and autism. I suspect Sainsbury may have done themselves no favours with this.
I'm perfectly ok with it as long as the pet is happy in the environment, That HAS to be the priority, not the needs of the human.
About 35 years ago there was a bloke in Coalville (Leics) who walked around the town with a live fox draped round his neck. I can't imagine he tied it up outside if he went in anywhere.
I'm in two minds about the cat as it seems perfectly happy to do what he needs of it, whereas my cat would have let go one/both ends if I'd tried it :uneasy:

I showed our cat the video of Chloe sitting still in the pub for several hours and sitting on his shoulder. I got a howl and a foot in my face as he leaped out of my hands. So our cat fails the patience test :smiley-laughing:

Well, they do say that pets get like their owners.
You can't bring that cat in here!
Why not?
It's unhygenic!
He won't mind.

Would my alarm clock peacock be acceptable?
I still feel British Airways are being unreasonable about my emotional support elephant....
Back in the noughties I was a director of a licensed club.
We were all required to do duty nights. Most were quiet boring evenings, but occasionally things happened.
One night on my shift a guy came in with an open shirt and a snake coiled round his wrist.
No way, Jose! Takes all sorts, I guess. :worried:
@Bob Tidbury (https://www.ngaugeforum.co.uk/SMFN/index.php?action=profile;u=3442) and myself know how difficult it is to herd cats.
Our experience came at many a TINGS when trying to get forum members together for a group pic. ;D

Very true even after many tannoy messages not that their tannoy was very clear and posting on here the numbers started to dwindle I counted 37 members one year ,but none on the sunday last year .
Not even sure I will be there this year ,as my back is so bad now that I have a four wheeled walking frame.
But I do hope we can arrange something IF I do get there .

It mentioned felines. What more d'you want, you miserable old scrote? :P
We all know NGF members are cool cats. :)
I intended to be there, but it looks dodgy
now.
Graham from Melbourne should be there, though.
By the way, I'm allergic to cats :D
HB is looking forward to his first visit to the pet food aisle at Tesco, though I suspect he will need MY support to push the trolley and pay at the till :*(
biscuits -tick
dog food - tic
dental chews - tick
dry dog food - tick
treats - tick tick tick tick

Quite surprised that last post didn't have "Daddy-o" at the end. Nothing says 'un-cool' like an NGF member.

Yeah, they just don't realise how much you come to depend on these creatures.
The local swimming baths were really arsey about my crocodile.

I get the urge to reply, "Tusk, tusk, tusk, that's an awful joke." But I'll resist the urge.
Three tusks? Must be shadow pictures. Go on, do deformed elephant - it's my favourite!

all being well, flights are booked, just not sure if these flights will remain as they are on Cathay Pacific, and the Chinese government are still imposing a 7day quarantine for anyone landing in HK.
Why anyone would want to take a cat into a supermarket is beyond my comprehension.
Although like George, being highly allergic to them, whilst I can appreciate them at a distance I keep my distance.
