I accompanied Mrs PP into Boots this afternoon. We were searching for lipstck.
Whilst the decision was being made, I had a nose around.
What a range of modelling materials they stock:
Weathering powders - a bit garish maybe but nonetheless.
Paintbrushes in all sizes imaginable.
Small pots of paint.
Tiny tweezers and pliers.
Sanding sticks.
Watercolour pencils (at least that's what they looked like),
Cleaning brushes and pads.
Holding sprays

I was amazed. All a bit pricey though     :D :D
I'll get round to fixing it drekkly me 'ansome.

You're right Martin, they are a great source of tools

I find these scissors really useful, one of those "how did I manage without them" items

Only a fiver, comfortable to use, and the slightly curved blades are so handy for trimming trees to shape, cutting static grass back, and getting to more awkward spots. That little curve and the sharp pointy ends does make them far more versatile than regular scissors

All best wishes
Kevin

:beers:

Did Mrs. PP recognise you afterwards? :D
You know you're getting older when your mind makes commitments your body can't meet.

I don't think that the ladies would generally refer to what those powders are intended for as "weathering", maybe "unweathering" would be a more apt term  :D
