ozzie Bill.

Some weeks you just wonder why  you bother. First, an old mate, very close, dies by suicide. On Sunday, clutch blew in wife's car. Monday, mains water pipe burst on road behind our house, flooded yard, washed away garden, damaged foundations, damages various things outside. The water company are great to deal with, but everything has to go through the insurance company and they are, as is expected, being a total pack of :censored: . Don't really expect better, but it would have been nice. Then tonight the youngest comes home and tells us her workplace is being shut for 3.5 months so she is now without work for the next few months whilst they "renovate".
Ahh, good times, eh.
Please don't tell me to be positive, look up, things will get better or any of that other feel-good stuff. I survived cancer and all sorts of other crap, so will get through this as well, but just wondering why this has to keep happening.
Thanks for elistening, rant over.
Cheers, Bill.

Perhaps you were a very naughty boy in a previous existence Bill. ;) But as you say, you'll get through it, it's just that you seem to have a year's bad luck all at once.
The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

:veryangry: Woke up at 2AM with ear ache/infection   :censored: its bad enough to keep me awake ever sinse. Have some antibiotics handy so that I can hit any chest infection early on so have started taking those to see if they will help  :-\  :worried:

Have you tried a few drops of warm olive oil in your ear Jon? It can be effective if the ache is a build up of wax.

If I could squeeze into my Liddle End Tardis, I'd go back in time and ensure that "Del Prado" never made their cowdungy display models which pollute Ebay searches for "N-gauge"  :veryangry: :censored:

You can refine your search to ignore Del Prado or static models

You may have to add to this list as they change the wording, but it is very worth while to do.

cheers John.

Ta, found the option now I know it's there  :dunce:

I'll need to add "kit built" and "scratch built" and variations too I guess ;)
