Not so much angry as upset!

Couldn't work out why trains and locomotives toppled off my raised trackwork!

Tested with spirit level, OK, tested witrh eyeball after big struggle to get close enough, "AAAARGH!"   :veryangry:

Blobs of hot melt glue on the blind side or in side of track.

Couldn't remove it so cut the track but had to tear down the hillside the extract the glued trackwork!!!  :'(

Now big hole and the prospect of rebuilding not only trackbed but also the hills!

Peter.
Each can do but little, BUT if each did that little, ALL would be done!

Life is like a new sewer pipe, what you get out of it depends on what you put into it!

So sorry to hear that, Peter :(
Hopefully it won't be too much hassle to put things right.

Sorry for the problems Peter but thanks for sharing.

Hope the fix isn't too traumatic.

A reminder perhaps that we should cover up the track when doing scenic and other work nearby.

 :veryangry:
All work stopped!!! Despite living 474 metres above sea level, the last 4 days of continuos rain has overwhelmed the village storm drains and led to a small river running through my cantina (train room). The rear wall is just pure mountain, the (very old) house was built on top of that so the water has finally seeped through all the bedrock and decided to exit through the various gaps in the rock! 24 litres an hour are gently flowing through the room.. Luckily it does slope towards the garden so if it stops this week I may be able to get back in and finish the "bridge access". If not I will be searching ebay for model boats.
Some days its just not worth gnawing through the straps.

Sorry to hear of your floods Jerry, hope the rain eases of soon.  The second house I bought here had that water seepage though bedrock problem, the rooms in the basement became rivers, glad I got rid of it 9 years ago. :)

Hope the damp doesn't spoil all your hard work or your locos and rolling stock.

Chinahand

Have you given any thought to incorporating it into a 'moving' water feature Jerry.

I'll get me hat (hard hat that is)  >:D

Or perhaps a big sealed glass wall between the room and the rock and a drainage pipe near the top that goes into the garden, then some coldwater fish or a shark ?

Seriously - hope you can get it sorted properly, water ingress is no fun

It can't be if it's the same Nora Virus I had, bed was the last place I could get as I spent more time in the loo than anywhere else

It took a while to get out of my system as well  :veryangry2:

Hope you feel better soon

cheers John.
