I need some clarification. This morning I received a text message from the NHS.

"You must follow Government advice and stay home. You may receive more detailed advice re your health condition soon. Visit www.nhs.uk"

Hi Bob, the wording of the text indicates that you will most likely receive a letter from the NHS, and as far as I have read, this means the NHS consider you to be one of the at risk group.

I caught a brief glimpse of an example text sent to the vulnerable types on the news earlier, the wording was more targeted, along the lines of "You have been identified as being in the vulnerable category..."

I've still got a big leg ham that I won in the Christmas ham raffle down the club out in the laundry fridge!

Why on earth would you put your laundry in a fridge? ???
And would you really put a leg of ham in with your underdungees? :sick2:
We need to know these things as others have pointed out.

I would assume this to be 'local dialect' @Bealman ???

Laundry fridge in Uk = a fridge for your laundry

Laundry fridge in Oz = a fridge in the laundry (room) uk equivalent would be the fridge in the UTILITY room.

daffy

I rather think the fridge in the club laundry is just one of many, with one in the kitchen, one in the lounge, one on the veranda, one in the......

In fact, one wherever you need to keep a few tinnies close to hand.

:beers:

And some meat. :o

Sufferin' succotash!

Bealman

Yeah.... I guess I should have said, "out in the other fridge which happens to be located in the laundry"

Everyone happy now?  ;) ;D

@exmouthcraig Don't go making excuses for him, Craig. After all, he did originate in this country until he got free passage on a boat to Oz >:D

Does he still fit in the blue suit with 🔝this way up?????

We've started digging up our garden now to grow vegetables too...

Have you worked out where the Anderson Shelter is going?

It does feel a bit like that, doesn't it. We are calling this "Operation Blitz".

though we'd stopped deporting undesirables for free,

put the price up to £10  :smiley-laughing:

not sure if that was self catering though  :hmmm:

They'd hiked the price up to fifty quid by the time I got round to it  >:( ;)
