Grrr wish I could eat sweets but my Cardiologist restricts ne to two squares of dark chocolate a day, yuk

Hi  Dave,

Welll i had open heart surgery last year &  nobodies  mentioned not eating sweets to me   ::) i   dont mind  dark   chocolate prefer to milk    ;)

So many of us with heart problems Nick, I had a 3.5cm hole repaired and later 2 stents fitted and SWMBO had a heart attack six weeks ago and is now like me on a cocktail of pills to keep her going.

What I miss most of all is Licorice Allsorts and Jelly Beans.

Hi  Dave,

Yes there are a lot more  people  out there with heart problems than you'd think,   i  had  a new aortic root   valve fitted  the mechanical type which   means  i'm  on Warfarin  for the rest of my life along with the  cocktail  of drugs as you say which  make me rattle  :smiley-laughing:

Send my  best to your wife for a speedy  recovery

Excuse me which  site are you  relating your comments  to  with  an  exclamation  mark   ?  >:(  a google search found at least two sites with both  of them.  ::) ::)

Good grief, Uncle Joes even have their own website and are still being produced in Wigan!  Uncle Lukes are also still around.  The wonders of the interweb - loads of online sweetshops.
