Eldest step-son (21) has flown the nest, leaving me with a nice, useable room to turn into a combined Electra Office and train room!  :beers:

A small layout is now possible but so is other kit like a 3D printer or other such goodies.

Got to get it cleaned out first...yuck! Are blankets meant to fold?  ???

Chris

I'm intrigued by this 3D printer. What are you planning with that?

Adam1701D

Just a pipe-dream at the moment - I need another day job pronto, so I can dip into the redundancy fund. If it comes to fruition, I'd like to offer complete EMU kits for the sort of units that can't be bashed from Farish coaches - e.g. modern stuff and pre-nat Southern units.

If you do, I'll have a model of Caroline off you then!

Don't waste too much time moving in - you've got coach vinyls to make!  ;D

Already started. PC in and getting the train stuff up, including the layout!  :beers:

I have promised my good lady that the conservatory will be returned to "female" use - cane furniture, pot plants, radio, etc, etc...

It sounds like some photo's might appear on the Layout thread.   ;) :D

It's a roundy-roundy that I picked up on eBay a few months back. Needs a complete re-jig, as some of the curves are unfeasibly tight.

I'll probably turn it from open country to urban grot at some point  :)
