Part good and part bad.
The NHS have decided to sort out the problem with my eyes. The bad won't be able to see for a week. No driving, internet etc.

NO Comments Mick about the blind leading the blind- - at least things won't be so blurred in some conditions.
Modelling stupid small scale using T gauge track and IDl induction track. Still have  N gauge but not the space( Japanese Trams) Excuse spelling errors please, posting on mobile phone

Have they given you a date for when they'll do this and will it be as accurate as a Dapol delivery date?

:) Been waiting several weeks for a GP phone conversation to sort my breathing/inhalers out.
Last week the heat was (to me) devastating. I was living on gulps of Ventolin and a week of steiroids.
Friday I took a couple of random deep breaths with no inhaler support.  :worried: It worked. Ok I need to go at a speed that my breathing will support (slow/very slow)
Now not used any Ventolin or additional breathing aids sinse Friday evening.
I`m actually coping with a better life and ease of breathing,
Speech is slow to allow deep breaths but it works

Going in Thursday afternoon

Jon, glad you are coping reasonably well. Very slow/stop seems to be the order of the day for me as well seeing chest consultant August 1st now.

No date as yet District Matron called yesterday haven't seen her for a year evidently somebody left a message on her PC that I had been in hospital net result a visit within a week she says if I haven't heard by next week start jumping up and down I said that's not a good idea as I have only just been signed off from the Cardiac unit and I do not want to go back there any time soon. Seriously follow ups at the hospital seem to be as rare as rocking horse droppings these days

Do such people still exist? I have visions of Hattie Jacques floating through my mind (that's not good for me).
Staying on the medical front I am still in huge trouble with a ricked back and having called out an NHS24 doctor he said he would recommend me for physiotherapy. The physio people duly sent me a letter which I received last Saturday and when I called them on Monday the earliest I can get to see anyone is...................5th September :smiley-laughing: :'( :smiley-laughing: :'( :smiley-laughing: :'(
