Train Waiting

Hello Chums

Cover girls used to be popular, but I wonder if they are allowed nowadays.  Am I even allowed to write 'cover girls'?

But here's a new one on me - a cover NGF Moderator...

I think the definite article is well deserved for someone who gives up so much train set time to moderate globes on our behalf!

It's a four-page article, phestooned with photographs and a nice reproduction of the 1900 OS 'County Series' map featuring Newport Pagnell station.  A great read if you like LNWR branch lines or Mr Ivatt's (the Younger) tank engines.

The Table-Top Railway is an attempt to create, in British 'N' gauge,  a 'semi-scenic' railway in the old-fashioned style, reminiscent of the layouts of the 1930s to the 1950s.
